Spain vs Brazil kick-off time

Date: March 26, 2024

Kick-off time: 4:30 pm ET / 1:30 pm PT

Venue: Estadio Santiago Bernabeu

Spain host Brazil at the iconic Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid on March 26, 2024, with kick-off scheduled at 4:30 pm ET / 1:30 pm PT in the US.

Barcelona prodigy Pau Cubarsi debuted for Spain in their previous outing against Colombia with Real Sociedad's shot-stopper Alex Remiro and Athletic Bilbao's defender Dani Vivian debuting for La Furia Roja.

The likes of Unai Simon, Rodri, Fabian Ruiz, Dani Carvajal, and Robin Le Normand were on the bench and they would be gearing up to come back into the side with Spain aiming to make wholesale changes before their clash against Brazil.

Spain predicted XI: Simon; Carvajal, Le Normand, Laporte, Grimaldo; Ruiz, Rodri, Merino; N Williams, Morata, Olmo

Liverpool and Manchester City's star shot-stoppers are injured with Alisson Becker and Ederson yet to recover from their knocks meaning Athletico Paranaense's goalkeeper Bento could be offered his second cap for Brazil.

There is yet no confirmation surrounding Richarlison's availability with the Spurs forward yet to recover from his knee issue.

Despite Endrick's scintillating strike to break the deadlock against England, the marquee striker should be offered a substitute appearance only.

Brazil predicted XI: Bento; Danilo, Bremer, Beraldo, Wendell; Paqueta, Guimaraes, Luiz; Pepe, Rodrygo, Vinicius

Luis de la Fuente's Spain will host Brazil at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid for a friendly game that will see some of the best players around European soccer take the field. La Roja will enter the contest after a surprising 1-0 defeat to Colombia on Friday, while Brazil were in action on Saturday, with a 1-0 victory over England at Wembley.

Unai Simon, Dani Carvajal, Robin Le Normand, Fabian Ruiz, Rodri and Dani Olmo are all likely to start for Spain after Friday's game, while Alvaro Morata and Nico Williams, who were second-half substitutes against Colombia, are also expected to feature in the starting team on Tuesday in Madrid.

Dorival Junior will likely try to experiment some of the players on Tuesday, but Real Madrid stars Rodrigo and Vinicius Jr. are expected to start on Tuesday in their home stadium. The absences of goalkeepers Ederson and Alisson Becker (both injured) meant that Bento earned his first cap on Saturday, and the 24-year-old should play again as a starter on Tuesday.

Luis de la Fuente's side suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Colombia in London last week as Brazil snatched a late victory just a few miles away against England at Wembley. La Roja will be looking to bounce back from that defeat but Brazil's performance against England gave a timely reminder of just how talented the Samba Boys are on the big stage.

De la Fuente will rotate his team once more, as he works to decide some selection calls ahead of Euro 2024, and the starting line up will be as close to the one he is considering for the tournament. Brazil needed a teenager to come off the bench to grab a late winner against England and Endrick Felipe could be rewarded with a start in Madrid. Exciting Girona winger Savio Moreira could also be drafted into the attack.

Endrick, the 17-year-old who will finally make his move to Real Madrid this summer, scored the only goal of the match on Saturday as Brazil picked up a narrow 1-0 victory over England at Wembley.

That ended the four-match winless run Brazil had been on, including three straight defeats to Uruguay, Colombia and Argentina, and the likes of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo now return to home comforts at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With all eyes increasingly turning to the European Championship, Luis de la Fuente will be desperate to pick up a statement win here over Brazil, with such a difficult group to come this summer.

Spain will face Italy, Croatia and Albania at Euro 2024 this summer, at the start of what they will hope is a journey that leads to them being crowned European champions for a fourth time.
