ST PETER’S HINDI ACADEMY

            Hindi Academy is a platform which facilitates all the North Indian brothers to bloom in their culture and tradition while being at St. Peter’s Pontifical Seminary, Bengaluru. It came into existence in the year 2018 by the benevolence support of the staff members under the rectorship of Rev. Fr. Joe Mathias SJ. The Academy is blessed by the gratuitous love of the present staff members and the brothers of all other Academies. Hindi Academy has certain activities in the Seminary, such as monthly Hindi Family Mass, weekly Hindi Sermon Class and weekly Choir Class. It also organizes Solemn Hindi Mass every year on the occasion of Deepawali, the feast of light. Currently, there are 27 members in Hindi Academy including 9 PG Fathers, 4 Deacons and 14 Brothers belonging to eight different states of north India; namely- Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujrat. The Academy welcomed 7 fresh members including 4 PG Fathers, 3 Theologians and 1 Philosopher who joined the Seminary this year in 2022. Presently, the Academy is directed by Rev. Fr. Cyril Linda and Rev. Fr. Gabriel Kujur.
